As our main objective, the ideal candidate should show a strategic approach to/in
• increasing sales
• finding new partners and customers
• increasing the brand awareness and getting the products featured and established in the market
• developing a middle to longer term strategy on how to best serve the North American market and put Lernidee products in synch with expectations/requirements from partners/guest

Representative specifications and personality

For the US and Canada we are looking for a representative based in the source region who also handles bookings and actively deals with clients on the market. This does include everything from 1st contact, over consultation and booking to follow-up. The person should have good networking abilities and have a clear-cut and structured approach to the task of setting up a brand on a B2B and eventually B2C basis. Ideally, the candidate has worked in an international environment before and possesses an intercultural mind-set. The ideal candidate should also (be):
• in tourism business for many years with good connections
• a networker
• enthusiastic about the products and able to transfer this enthusiasm to others,
• love to travel,
• an active, open-minded, communicative person

Tasks

• Providing customer support for existing partners regarding information and booking related issues
• Main focus: Acquisition of new partners – especially tour operators – that have the desire and potential to develop product ideas together with Lernidee
• Dealing with B2B (tour operators and travel agencies/homebased agents) and B2C (direct customers)
