Electricity and Power Sockets

Power sockets are available in the corridors of sleeping cars and in Category III, IV and V compartments. Every car has both 110- and 220-volt AC sockets, intended for charging electric razors. Therefore, we recommend that you ask your tour guide to show you which sockets are rated for which voltage before using them so that you do not damage your devices. We also recommend that you bring along sufficient extra batteries for your electronic devices just in case.
